On Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Mississippi Valley (BBSMV) will host Match Night — bringing over 250 Bigs, Littles and families, along with sponsors and other community representatives — to kick off the 19th annual Putt A Round (Feb. 7-9).
Putt-A-Round is a unique event that transforms the Great Hall of the RiverCenter (136 E. 3rd St., Davenport) into a 27-hole mini golf course. Area companies and organizations design and construct the holes, which are played by over 1,500 participants over a four-day period.
The event includes seven shotgun start shifts, that include a round of mini golf, music, food, prizes and raffles.
At Match Night, matches and families will play to course and vote on their favorite holes in a variety of different categories including — most challenging, Littles Favorite, Big Favorite, and most creative. Match Night also includes over eight area Mascots from professional teams and organizations.
The organization will raise over $100,000 from the event to support its one-to-one mentoring programs in the area.
The cost to play the Putt-A-Round is $120/foursome or $30/person — putter and ball provided, but participants may bring their own. For more information and to register, click HERE.
